Tea Party Alive and Well in Tucson!

It really was an encouraging sight today as I was driving home from work.  There, at all 4 corners of Speedway Blvd. and Park Ave. were bunches of people with signs demanding the repeal of Obamacare, signs supporting Gabriela Saucedo Mercer, and lots of Old Glory and the yellow Culpepper flag that has become the Tea Party's banner.

Great location too, at one corner of the University of Arizona, not exactly a bastion of conservatism.

These photos do not do justice to all of the people there (about 50 or 60), but they were taken from inside of my car.  I stopped and talked with some of them and had brief but inspiring conversations!

We're not done here!

  1. It's important to keep the pressure up, to let people know that we're there and that it's OK TO BE A PATRIOT.

    1. LL, you're right (pun intended). One of them mentioned that people were expecting them to fizzle out now. I don't think they realize how recent events have galvanized conservatives.

      Thanks for stopping by!
