Leader of Muslim Hate Group Met NSC in White House by Invitation

Since the American press is still in a drunken, orgasmic frenzy over The One, they are obviously not doing the jobs they were actually invited to do by the Founding Fathers - hold government accountable by telling the TRUTH.  As a result, the foreign press has more credibility than ours.  Lately, the British media has done more than our MSM has in the last 5 years.

The latest example is just breaking from the Daily Mail (6/29/2013):

"EXCLUSIVE: Deputy of banned cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi who endorses Palestinian suicide bombers had White House meeting with National Security Council staff
  • The UK and U.S. have banned Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who leads the anti-Israel International Union of Muslim Scholars.
  • The Obama administration invited that group's VP, Abdallah bin Bayyah, to a private meeting on the day it announced support for Syria's rebels
  • The organization ended its December 2012 board meeting by calling for the end of Israel and the return of its lands to the Palestinians
  • Hours after MailOnline began inquiring with the National Security Council about its meeting with bin Bayyah, the cleric's website was edited to remove the claim that National Security Adviser Tom Donilon attended"
  • Excerpts:
"The White House's National Security Council has confirmed that staffers held a June 13 meeting with Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah, an Islamist cleric who shares leadership of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, where he is vice-president and the terror supporter Yusuf al-Qaradawi is president... 'Like many in the global Muslim Brotherhood movement who pose as moderates to the press and to liberal intellectuals by issuing condemnations of al-Qaida,' it read in part, 'Bin Bayyah refuses to label the acts of groups such as Hamas, Hizballah or Palestinian Islamic Jihad as terrorism.' (quote by Investigative Project on Terrorism).

Bin Bayyah wrote on his website in the days following that meeting that he 'visited the White House where he met with Ms. Gayle Smith, a senior aide to President Barack Obama, and Mr. Rashad Hussain, U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of the Islamic Conference.'
'He also met with a number of experts,' that claim continued, 'including the director of public relations in the White House, the national security adviser, and representatives from seven government agencies.'... Smith is Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Development and Democracy at the National Security Council. Hussain is the lawyer tapped to implement the 'new beginning with Muslims around the world' which President Obama promised during a June 4, 2009 speech in Cairo, Egypt.

The two clerics' close association has caused reputational trouble for bin Bayyah among Western governments, and the U.S. State Department has denied al-Qaradawi entry into the country since 1999. But the Obama administration welcomed bin Bayyah into the White House... Separately, a senior administration official confirmed to MailOnline that 'Gayle Smith and members of the National Security Staff met with Shaykh Bin Bayyah to discuss a wide range of issues including poverty,  global health efforts, and Bin Bayyah’s efforts to counter the al Qaeda narrative.'  'Ms. Smith stated that she looked forward to working with him,' the official added, 'and with other faith leaders on issues of mutual interest.'

Obama, as a rank amateur, has done more damage to the United States and it's causes worldwide than all other forces combined.  He continues his romance with Jihadist Muslims and denies the deadly truth about Benghazi.  He does not value America, what she has accomplished and what she stands for.  He does not deserve to be President.

    Grijalva Doesn't Give a Rat's Ass About Tucson's Poor

[Yesterday's post was titled, "Tucson Families At Risk".  A pretty lame title.  And it got the attention it deserved.  So I repost the article here, with a title more fitting to my point.]

If you're an average person in Tucson, you don't make very much money.  Maybe you work for a school district, or you're a carpenter, and at night you're a convenience store clerk.  Your spouse or partner (if you have one) works at a call center, or a store in Park Mall, or as a mechanic in a garage.

You don't make much money, but you care about your family.  Family is what's important.  You've got 2 or 3 kids to look after, but you can't make it to most of the ball games or concerts because you're always working.  You've also got your ailing mother to take care of.  Why?  Because you care about your family, that's what's important to you.  You don't leave her care to some stranger.

On Saturdays your small back yard is full of aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, and lots of kids running around.  Because they're family, and that's what's important.  Everyone brings something to eat because neither you nor they make much money and everyone shares the burden.  On Sunday you go to Mass.

Now, let's say that, all of a sudden, for no reason that benefits you, a politician in Washington decides that the company you work for, and others like it, need to pay lots of money to the government in Washington.  Because the politician doesn't like your kind of company.  If the company was stable, now it may not be as stable.  There might be layoffs.  You may get laid off.  How are you going to take care of your spouse, kids, mom?  How are you going to pay for your house and the electric bill?

And this politician said he fights for the downtrodden, for the poor people.  But this bill he wants to pass could make life hell for you and your family, especially because you and your family don't have much money.  In fact, almost everything he has done has hurt working families like yours.  If you work for a hotel, or a tourism company, you remember when he took food out of your kids' mouths when he told the whole country NOT to come to Arizona.

Talk to people who worked in the mines back when they were busy.  It was hard work, but it paid well and had good benefits.  The mines are trying to come back with their good jobs and family benefits.  But Raul Grijalva hates the mines despite the fact that working people with families like you would be lots better off.

He's a two-faced liar, and he's richer than you or I will ever be.  He likes to live high on the hog on your money and mine.  Working people and poor people cannot rely on him, cannot trust him.

Tucson - A City Stuck on Stupid (Liberalism)

Welcome to Losersville!!  (Those aren't my words, they're the words of an economic expert.)

Back in April, I wrote a response to an article in the Arizona Daily "Red" Star about Tucson maintaining its firm place in MarketWatch's Bottom Ten Cities in America - which makes it a veritable liberal paradise.  No money, no jobs, high emphasis on "culture", everybody on the government handout.

Mayor Jonathan Rothschild wants to attract people who don't need jobs:  "We need to be attracting people who want to get out and hike and bike. People who like culture and history," Rothschild said. "Not people who are coming to see the old West."  (I thought the old West was history... silly me).  A quote from the obligatory university professor echoes the sentiment: "It's a shame that our kids move away," [University of Arizona professor of Geography and Urban Development David Plane] said. "But a lot of us enjoy Tucson because it's not a slick, corporate place..."

Must be nice to be part of the 1%, the liberal elite

However, the proverbial rope is running out, and soon Tucson will hang itself.  According to another article in the Arizona Daily "Red" Star, economic development expert Mark Lautman, "founding director of Albuquerque-based Community Economics Lab, a think tank for new approaches to economic development," is "hoping to stir an "awakening" among city leaders," because Tucson is about to become "Losersville":

"• Almost all qualified workers are fully employed, leaving no labor pool to attract new companies.
    • The community is desensitized from years of reports of poor economic and education rankings.
    • Maintenance of roads or landscaping is reduced or eliminated.
    • Revenues shrink as demand for services increases, leading to tax increases.
    • "CAVE" people - Citizens Against Virtually Everything - decry business incentives."

    THAT FITS TUCSON TO A "T" !

With leadership that has squandered millions of dollars in taxpayer money on boondoggles like Rio Neuvo and the now-in-deep-doo-doo Tucson "Modern" Streetcar, I seriously doubt that Lautman's report will make any difference whatsoever.

So the poor stay poor, and those who don't want to be poor, leave.  Natural selection in action maintaining the elite liberal paradise.
